The roads are clear so we head to Arkanas...
The rest of Texas was nice...The first half of Okalahoma was nice. Until my windshield got cracked by a pebble and then it was HELL....The ice was so bad in the last half of OK. that it took over an hour to go a few miles. The ice was so thick and had melted in random spots that the road felt like rollerblading on cobble stones. We went from 2 mph to 5 mph tops. We decided to call a motel we found on the GPS, since we new we were not going to make it to Ark. We finally found a motel that had rooms open, and it took FOREVER to get there. We saw a Jeep go off the road behind us, and 5 semi truck pile up in front of us. The two lane highway was down to one really crummy/hellish/dangerous road....
Once we got to the motel we played in the snow (I fell and hurt my back). Then we decided to try and brave the road so we could get something to eat. The car got stuck in the snow and some people had to push us out...
